Founded in 2024 and headquartered in the Kingdom, DOO provides AI-driven customer-experience (CX) support for enterprises; essential in a region where consumers now expect faster, more personalized service. Merak Capital is proud to lead DOO’s $1.7 million round to sharpen its product capabilities and extend its commercial footprint in Saudi and across the GCC.

DOO is led by co-founders Ali Mohsen and Mohamed AlKhabbaz, experienced entrepreneurs building Arabic-first AI for enterprise CX. Anchoring HQ in the Kingdom puts them beside the region’s largest buyers and partners, enabling direct access to decision-makers and roadmaps grounded in local needs. DOO’s ability to open doors, convert pilots, and scale accounts is why we chose to back this team.

By centralizing customer communications, automating responses while protecting the brand, and surfacing insights into behavior and sentiment, DOO covers the full CX workflow. DOO accomplishes this through three products: CONNECT (unifies conversations across channels); CTRL (configures a brand-personalized AI voice, tone, and keep interactions on-brand); and OMLAQ (adds an Arabic-dialect language layer), making DOO operationally embedded and easy to adopt, measure, and scale.

Saudi’s digital-first consumer base keeps expanding: ~99% internet penetration in 2024, and Vision 2030’s digitization push is lifting expectations for speed and personalization, making CX pain points more acute. DOO serves organizations with frequent customer touchpoints and large support operations, where automation and analytics drive measurable outcomes. As message volumes, communication channels, and teams grow, DOO scales with its customers, a model we back for efficient, durable growth.

DOO leverages reseller partnerships for scale. By partnering with telecom operators and e-commerce enablement platforms; partners’ customers become DOO’s customers. The product is also instantly testable online, fueling word of mouth. In parallel, Merak is mapping portfolio synergies and accelerating reach as partners or customers. Upcoming commercial hires will extend coverage, strengthen partner programs, and improve go-to-market operations.

This round’s capital will close key capability gaps and accelerate execution: more engineering depth for product consistency and scale, more commercial muscle for Saudi market entry and expansion, and stronger finance/ops to improve visibility and governance.

DOO is building the Arabic-first customer-experience layer that the region needs. We’re proud to back Ali Mohsen, Mohamed AlKhabbaz, and the DOO team as they help brands serve customers faster and more personally across the Kingdom and the GCC.
