Sara is the Chief Operating Officer of Merak Capital, where she leads the firm’s operating model and investment operations, collaborating closely with technology to design and implement systems that enable a scalable and institutional-grade investment platform. She works closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure the firm’s platform remains institutional, efficient, and aligned with global best practices.

Sara brings over 18 years of experience in investment management and financial services, with a focus on building scalable operating models, strengthening governance, and enhancing operational infrastructure across global investment platforms.

Prior to joining Merak Capital, Sara held senior roles at BlackRock in London and previously worked at J.P. Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Deloitte LLP, gaining broad experience across global banking and asset management platforms.

Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the American University of Beirut.
